The Nexxa 4 is an advanced network surveillance recorder that can connect to up to 4 security cameras.Being dedicated to a network environment means we can eliminate circuits on the motherboard that deal with CCTV camera composite video. This left space for new circuitry and components. Unique Dual Buffering Merge Technology (DBMT) has been added to the Nexxa product line.


NVR with Dual Buffering Technology

The idea behind dual buffering technology is not new, but were the first to add over-buffering tecniques to LAN transmitted security video.
Dual Buffer Merge Technology (DBMT) circuits are on the main board of this NVR. These circuits protect video files from degradation, corruption and dropped frames by using multiple streams of video data sourced from the same camera. If one stream experiences a problem the circuits use the other stream to fill in or fix any missing data or image. THIS PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY IS UNIQUE TO NEXXA SERIES NVRs.
